Principal's Message

Dear Willow Families,

We look forward to welcoming you to the 2023-24 school year! Our first day of school will be Wednesday, August 23, 2023.

Our Willow team strives to provide students with fun and creative learning activities, rigorous academic instruction, and social-emotional learning. We are elated to be able to continue providing our students with a full-time visual and performing arts (VAPA) teacher, a full-time media center coordinator in our library, a full-time school counselor, a full-time intervention specialist, an experienced P.E. specialist, and a 4th and 5th grade science teacher.

For the 2023-24 school year, we will also be developing a Makerspace to increase our students’ access to technology and coding in addition to our existing classroom iPads and 1:1 laptops in 3rd - 5th grades. Additionally, we have a thriving garden at Willow and will have a gardening specialist who will teach gardening lessons to our students throughout the year. At Willow, we are committed to providing a well-rounded program, which affords students an opportunity to reach their highest potential.

I am grateful to partner with you and value the positive energy and dedication to excellence that is inherent in our Willow community. I am excited and optimistic about the school year we have in front of us. I hope all our current and incoming Willow Wildcats enjoy their summer break. We look forward to officially welcoming you back to school on August 23rd!
