Principal's Message

Dear Willow Families,

Welcome to Willow Elementary, a 2025 California Distinguished School. Our first day of the
2025-2026 school year will be Wednesday, August 20, 2025. Our Willow team strives to provide
students with opportunities for critical thinking and creativity, rigorous academic instruction, and
social-emotional learning. We are elated to be able to continue providing our students with
music and visual arts instruction. Willow will have a credentialed music teacher teaching music
using the Kodály method. Additionally, we will be partnering with Art Trek to provide standards-based visual arts to our students.

We continue to have a full-time school counselor, school psychologist, behaviorist, high-quality instructional assistants, and an academic specialist to support our students. With the help of our PFA fundraising, we are also pleased to continue offering a full-time media center coordinator in our library and makerspace, a P.E. coach, and a gardening specialist!
